In the emotional song, Amanda, 49, speaks about her child who was “born sleeping” in 2011.

Amanda is married to record producer Chris Hughes and they have two daughters together, Alexa, 14, and eight-year-old Hollie.

She told the Mirror: “The last lines of this song are ‘You took my life with you, Took my world with you’ and so this is for Theo, our baby who was born sleeping and for Chris who stayed strong when I fell apart.

“It was Chris who told me he always thought of Theo when he heard this song which floored me so it’s also his song for Theo.

“It’s very emotional to sing this song but I think you get chosen for experiences like that only if you are strong enough to deal with it. And it changes you.”

The Britain’s Got Talent judge added: “It is also Simon Cowell’s favourite song.”

Earlier this year Amanda wowed fans with the release of her charity single, a beautiful rendition of Judy Garland’s classic Over The Rainbow.

Her debut single was in support of NHS Charities Together.

Amanda’s anticipated debut album is out October 2nd and features a duet with Sheridan Smith.

The pair sing a version of I Know Him So Well, from the musical Chess.

Amanda previously revealed she’d been working on her first album for a year but the release was pushed back because of the pandemic.

HOAR revealed in February the radio presenter was the subject of a bidding war between Warner, Sony and Universal after a singalong she filmed went viral.

Interest in Amanda was sparked when she filmed and posted online a version of Tightrope from hit film The Greatest Showman to celebrate her tenth wedding anniversary with husband Chris.

The video, which featured their two daughters, clocked up almost 1.5million views on social media and it wasn’t long before music execs were scrapping over her.

Amanda was the subject of a bidding war between Warner, Sony and Universal before signing a £1million deal with Virgin EMI.
