ANT McPartin has joked he will be ‘sacking’ Declan Donnelly’s wife Ali Astall after being roped into doing the infamous ‘eating’ Bushtucker Trial.
The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! presenters faced the stomach-churning challenge for the first time in one-off show Jungle Story.
Initially laughing, Ant explained that Dec’s wife Ali is their manager so had secretly agreed to the trial without them knowing.
Watching his best pal attempting to eat a fermented duck egg, he said: “Do you want to know the best thing about this?
“Dec’s wife is our manager so she would have signed all of this off!”
But when he was told to down a drink of blended Vomit Fruit, Ant changed his tune.
After repeatedly yelling “no!”, he joked to Dec: “Your wife is so sacked!”
Dec agreed, quipping: “She’s out of here.”
Meanwhile, earlier in the show, the lads proved they’re just as funny off camera by leaving the crew in hysterics during rehearsals.
All the footage was filmed in Australia last year and showed Ant and Dec at a script run-through in the early hours of the morning.
While reading their lines and watching footage of the camp antics, the pair were seen cracking jokes and making their colleagues laugh out loud.
The new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off on ITV1 on Sunday November 15, 2020.
