ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have teased I’m A Celebrity fans about what to expect from the new series.
The co-presenters say it’s going to be “completely different” this year as they refused to shut down rumours Tiger King star Carole Baskin is a campmate.
Ant and Dec excitedly spoke about the upcoming series, which is being filmed in Wales instead of Australia this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s a show that we really look forward to, to go out and spend five weeks in Aus….oh,” joked Dec.
“We love I’m A Celebrity.
“The cast changes every year, so it’s always a different vibe – you never know what’s going to happen.
“This year it’s going to be completely different and none of us quite know what it’s going to be like.
“I’m very intrigued.”
The pair were chatting to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning today about the upcoming series this Autumn.
Quizzed by Holly about the rumours Netflix star Carole Baskin is joining the I’m A Celebrity line-up, Dec said: “I don’t know what you are talking about…”
Ant admitted: “The rumours are there, but we can’t talk about the bookings.”
Dec added: “We couldn’t possibly say.”
The hosts – who are currently filming Britain’s Got Talent – were sat together on This Morning prompting questions about why they weren’t social distancing.
They revealed they’re tested for coronavirus every four days so they don’t have to stay apart.
Explaining why they can break social distancing rules and safely sit next to each other, Ant said: “We’re in a cohort.
“We’re working on Britain’s Got Talent and other things at the moment.
“So we get tested every four days.”
Dec joked: “We’re like premiership footballers… that’s where the similarity ends.
“We get tested down the throat and up the nose. Basically our households are connected and we form a cohort.”
Ant added: “We can sit next to each other and stroke each other. We have to be careful as to where we go and who we see…”
Encouraging Dec to joke: “Nothing new there.”
I’m A Celebrity returns this autumn, with Ant and Dec filming live from Gwrych Castle every evening during the series.
The presenters have been flying out to Australia for the past 19 years, but coronavirus made it impossible to record in the usual location.
It means producers were forced to swap the jungle for a “haunted” castle in North Wales.
