THIS Morning bosses have lined up a huge welcome-home party for hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby when they return next week.
It has even bagged ITV’s biggest stars, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, as guests when the main hosts return for the first time in two months.
The pair have been off screens since 10 July, handing over to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford while they enjoyed a summer break.
ITV revealed last night that Holly and Phil would be back on screens after next week’s Bank Holiday on Tuesday 1 September.
And a special trailer aired on the show today revealed exactly what is in store on their special show.
Playing some of their funniest moments, a voiceover said: “Back with a bang – Holly and Phil together again and special guests Ant and Dec. Next Tuesday from 10am on This Morning.”
A spokesperson for the daytime show said that the new series of This Morning will focus on celebrating the best that Britain has to offer, with brand new travel, beauty, cooking and animal segments.
In the new four-part series ‘Best of British’, the show have sent Nigel Havers on a tour of Britain to learn about the nation’s history.
Meanwhile, chef Gino D’Acampo will finally be back in the studio and John Torode will be taking viewers on an overseas adventure in his new segment Torode’s Skeleton Coast.
