Who won the Great Celebrity Bake Off last night?

The third episode saw comedian Joe Sugg, Alex Jones, James Blunt and Alison Hammond step into the famous tent to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer.

The celebs rolled up their sleeves and showed off their baking skills in an attempt to impress judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.

Hosts Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig were also on hand to give the contestants support.

In episode four, the celebs were tasked with preparing a batch of decorated traybakes for the signature round.

Then came the challenge of making mini yorkshire puddings, to which Alex exclaimed: “I’ve never made Yorkshire puddings, I usually ask a woman called Bessie to make them.”

Finally, for the Showstopper, they had to create a scene out of biscuits depicting what they wanted to be when they grew up.

Impressing in all the rounds, YouTuber Joe was crowned the worthy winner in the end.

How does the Great Celebrity Bake Off work?

The series is a little bit different to the regular show as each episode has a different group of celebrities in to the tent.

Airing in five parts, viewers will see four celebrities take on the three rounds as usual – the Signature, the Technical and the Showstopper.

So, this means the Star Bakers from each week will never have to  face other – but they do bag the coveted apron.
