Kane paid tribute to drummer Kenny following his death over the weekend

COUNTRY artist Kane Brown has taken to social media to mourn the death of drummer Kenny Dixon.

The 25-year-old paid tribute to Kenny on Instagram following his tragic death in a car accident on Saturday.

Alongside a black and white shot of the pair, Kane wrote: “Love you so much dude!!!

“You started all of this with me from the start in 2015 when nobody else believed we would make it out of Chattanooga playing for 500 people and your last show was in a Fn Stadium my guy.

“I know u will be watching over us with that redneck accent that we all love and you will never be replaced bro!!! I promise u that!!”

Fans rushed to comment their condolences, with one saying: “Prayers for the band! I can’t imagine what everyone is going though.”

Kenny was engaged to girlfriend Sarah

Another said: “Your gonna be truly missed”.

A third wrote: “So very sorry for the loss of your dear friend! He will be missed! Prayers for everyone!”

Kenny’s fiance, Sarah Hendrick, who shared a son named Levi with the drummer, revealed she was “at a loss of words.”

She wrote: “Im at a loss of words. I don’t even know how to write this or ever thought I would have to.

“Kenny passed away last night in a car accident. I know I have to be strong for Levi and God is gonna pull us through this.

“We have a forever guardian angel watching above us now. Please keep Levi, my family, and Kenny’s family in your prayers.”

Kane and Kenny, who was from Dalton, Georgia, had played together for four years.
