CAPRICE Bourrets decision to quit Dancing On Ice has sparked backstage tensions between the celeb contestants and the pro skaters.
Earlier today we revealed that the model, 48, has pulled out of the show for the sake of her mental healthafter a huge bust up with her original skating partner Hamish Gaman.
Everyone in the competition is now gearing themselves up to put on their game faces to pull off tonights show but insiders say they are divided over the feud between Caprice and Hamish.
A source said: Behind the scenes its getting rather frosty. Everyone is trying to stay professional but the tensions are clearly there between the dancers and pros.
Its a very awkward time and everyone is upset about whats happened between Caprice and Hamish… They just have to go on with the show though.
Hamish and Capriceparted ways permanently two weeks ago after a row in training.
The pro has widely been supported by his fellow skaters, while show insiders branded Caprice a diva and lazy.
On Friday Hamish broke his silence on the feud and revealed he was not OK as he struggled to deal with the aftermath of the fall out.
However following the news of her exit from show, friends close to the star told The Sun Online that she stands by her claims and is planning on taking legal action.
A pal said: “The only issue Caprice had with Hamish is that she thought he was bullying her.
“She thinks others saw what was going on but no one is willing to speak out about.”
They continued: “Caprice feels like she has been abandoned by ITV, who haven’t offered her any aftercare following the fallout.
“She feels utterly bullied and has been left distraught by everyone speaking out to support Hamish, while she has been branded a lazy diva.
“Caprice won’t let this go and she already plans to talk to her lawyers to see what the next step is for her.”
Caprice’s team announced she had quit last night, saying: Its true that Caprice is no longer participating in Dancing On Ice.
Its been a hard few months and shes had to keep silent for contractual reasons.
Her mental wellbeing has been affected over the last two months and recent stories leaked to the press are not only salacious but extremely hurtful.
Now shes taking some time to recover and look after herself and her family.
