JAMES Jordan has revealed his dad is in hospital after suffering a stroke and said he is “not ready to lose him.”

The Dancing On Ice winner took to Instagram to share his upset with fans this afternoon.

James, 41, tweeted: “Hi guys I’ve been in hospital since 7.30 this morning where my hero and dad was rushed in after having a stroke and seizures

“Sitting with him now and I’m asking if you could all say a little prayer for him.

“I’m not ready to lose him!”

The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who recently welcomed a baby daughter with wife Ola Jordan, was inundated with messages of support.

One said: “Oh James so sorry to hear this, wishing your dad all the very best and sending lots of love to you and your family xxxxx”

And his wife replied with a string of love heart emojis.

His father’s health battle comes just as the star expressed his joy earlier this month at him finally being a dad.

James and Ola recently welcomed a baby daughter into the world after their three-year IVF battle.

The former Strictly star and Dancing On Ice winner announced Ola had given birth to their first child on Instagram, telling fans they are the “happiest” parents in the world.

Ola, 37, wrote alongside her photo: “She’s here and she is perfect.”

While James, 41, shared the same picture of their baby’s tiny hand and gushed: “I’m the happiest man in the world.”

The couple – who have been married for 17 years – shared the news they were expecting their first child together last year.

In an interview with Hello! magazine, they beamed with joy as they posed for pictures with their baby scan.

The former Strictly stars had been trying for a couple of years, and were “desperate” to have children after their intense careers got in the way of starting a family.
