OLA Jordan has given birth to her first child with husband James.

The ex Strictly star and Dancing On Ice winner announced the news on Instagram tonight, telling fans they are the “happiest” parents in the world.

Ola wrote alongside her photo: “She’s here and she is perfect.”

Whilst James shared the same picture of their baby’s little hand and said: “I’m the happiest man in the world.”

The couple – who have been married for 16 years – shared the news they were expecting their first child together last year.

In an interview with Hello! magazine, they beamed with joy as they pose for pictures with their baby scan.

Ola, 36, looks radiant as she wears a pale pink satin dress, which she has accessorised with pearl hoop earrings.

The star wears her golden hair down in sleek curls for the shoot.

While James, 41, looks dapper in a crisp white shirt as they confirm they are starting a family of their own.

Earlier this year the duo revealed they had started IVF to fulfil their dream of becoming parents.

The former Strictly stars, who have been trying for a couple of years, have been “desperate” to have children after their intense careers got in the way of starting a family.

Ola has been very open about her fertility struggles, and admitted she thought she would be able to conceive naturally.

Ola and James have been married for over 15 years

In a previous interview with Hello! she said: “I would love to be a mum with all my heart and I just thought it would happen naturally.

“James is also desperate to have babies and I just wish it could have happened by now. That’s the one gift I would love to give him.

“I guess I just thought, like most women, that I could choose when the time was right for me; that I could have my career and then have a baby when it felt right. But for us it just hasn’t happened like that.”

James added: “The irony is that for 17 years during our career we tried not to have children because dancing is not a career that easily fits in with family life.

“When we finally did try, it was a sting to realise we couldn’t conceive straight away. After consultations we’ve realised we are one of the lucky ones and that, with help, hopefully one day we can realise our baby dreams.”

Now their luck has turned and they are excited to be parents.
