Joe, 36, has been left devastated by his pal’s tragic passing, and broke down following his Dancing On Ice performance earlier today.

Taking to her Instagram page after the ITV show had aired, 30-year-old Stacey shared a sweet snap of Joe with their baby son Rex, and Harry – his son from a previous relationship.

The trio are smiling in the cosy family portrait, with Stacey throwing her support behind the star in the lengthy caption.

She wrote: “Love is everything. We are so proud of you. There is nothing worse than seeing you in pain, but nothing that fills our hearts more than seeing the joy you get from being a daddy and a role model.

“An incredible one at that. In this moment in time, all we can do is be kind. And remember that there is a human in every picture, behind every story, every post, every headline, and every TV screen, a real person, taking it all in, the good and the bad.

“There is no such thing as the perfect human. Having empathy and kindness is all we can truely strive towards.”

Stacey then added a personal tribute to Caroline, writing: “‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind’ – Caroline Flack RIP We are so sorry, It should never have been this way”.

Earlier this evening, Joe fought back tears and was supported by his professional DOI partner, Alex Schauman, as he paid tribute to Caroline.

Overcome with emotion, he told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: “I want to send my love to her family.”

Alex added: “This was really hard for him to get through, to do a happy number when he feels the way that he feels.

“I am so proud of him.”

Stacey, who was in the audience with Rex and Harry, looked emotional as she cheered her partner on from the crowd.

Joe shared an emotional video last night after news of Caroline’s death broke

Joe grew close to Caroline when they were both presenters on I’m A Celeb’s spin-off show between 2009 and 2010.

Yesterday, he fought back tears as he spoke out on her death on his Instagram Story.

His voice cracked as he told fans: “I want to send a message to everyone and let everyone know that Caroline Flack was the most amazing person you could ever come across.

Caroline took her own life

“She was funny, super talented, and she had the most infectious laugh.

“I wish that she could have asked for help because there’s so many people that love her and I am going to miss her so much.

“We can’t let this happen, we can’t let this happen to anyone else.”

Caroline’s devastated family announced the sad news yesterday evening, saying in a statement: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.

The bubbly TV presenter was the face of Love Island

“We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”

The bubbly TV presenter was due in court next month, having always insisted her innocence.

Model Lewis, 27, also denied the prosecution and made a public declaration of his love for the star in a heartfelt Valentines Day post on Friday.

Caroline’s managers have publicly blasted the CPS after they continued to prosecute the star despite Lewis making clear he did not want them to and there being no serious injury.

In a passionate statement they said that the Crown Prosecution Service knew how “vulnerable” the star was, adding: “The CPS should look at themselves today and how they pursued a show trial that was not only without merit but not in the public interest and ultimately resulted in significant distress to Caroline.”

Lewis, 27, paid tribute to Caroline earlier today, saying that he is “in so much pain” following her death.

Irish beauty Laura Whitmore also broke down in tears as she made a passionate plea for people to “be kind” as she addressed her friend’s death on her radio show this morning.

Love Island, which Caroline used to be the face of, was also cancelled both last night and tonight.

However, show bosses have confirmed that the series will continue as usual tomorrow evening with a special tribute to the star.
