Tom Parker will be having treatment while his wife Kelsey gives birth

In an interview with OK! magazine, the emotional star said: “I’m still in complete shock, it’s so much to take in.”

And his wife Kelsey, who is 36 weeks pregnant, explained that Aurelia’s baby brother will arrive while Tom is undergoing treatment.

Speaking about how they will manage with him being a month into his chemo and radiotherapy, she said: “We’ll just have to get on with it.

“You think: ‘How could anyone cope with this and being pregnant?’ but when you’re in it, you just do.

He revealed his sad news alongside a snap of a family trip to Brighton

“I told my midwife and that was a surreal moment for me. We were both crying.

“I have asked if I can have a home birth in case Tom is really tired, because he will be over a month into his treatment then.”

The average life expectancy for the star’s illness, known as a grade four glioblastoma, is between three and 18 months from the time of diagnosis.

“We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way.

“We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.

“It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this. Tom and Kelsey xxx.”
