I’M A Celebrity fans are chomping at the bit for Kardashian gossip from Caitlyn Jenner but they might be sorely disappointed due to “legal reasons”, claims ex campmate Nicola McLean.
The glamour model went Down Under in the jungle in 2008, eventually finishing sixth.
Nicola, 38, went on to continue her reality TV career with a spot on Celebrity Big Brother in 2012, in a series won by Denise Welch, before featuring on 2017’s All Star edition.
Her rich reality show history has bestowed a few lessons and tricks of the trade – but one in particular could put a stop to Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Caitlyn’s secret stories.
Nicola told Closer magazine: “As much as we’re hoping for exciting Kardashian or Cheryl gossip, it might not be the case, because lawyers watch each episode before it airs to make sure the people campmates are talking about aren’t defamed.
“I was in Celebrity Big Brother with Ray J – Kim’s ex, with whom she did the sex tape – and he told us loads of stuff, but it never aired because of legal reasons.”
So any fan wanting detail on the parent of 10’s famous children, or her split from Kris Jenner, may be sorely disappointed.
Yet this is only Nicola’s opinion and, if this is the rule, it appears some of the 2019 stars have flaunted it already.
Caitlyn referred to the Kardashian clan shortly prior to her skydive into camp, as she gushed: “Kendall (Jenner) has skydived, Kim (Kardashian) has and I think Kourtney (Kardashian) has.
“Im gonna do this, everyone in my family has done it.”
Cait has a total of 10 step and biological children, with Kim, Kourt and Khloe her step children following her marriage to Kris Jenner.
Kendall and Kylie are her biological children – yet none have shown their public support for the star’s feat on their social media pages.
Sophia Hutchinson, Caitlyn’s girlfriend, has also stayed silent despite being quizzed on her Instagram page.
Roman Kemp and Kate Garraway have also mentioned their family on camera.
Cait will tonight face her second Bushtucker challenge since the show started on Sunday, with teaser images showing her head immersed in a bowl of snakes.
Talking of the Olympian’s chances at scooping the title, Nicola added:“I think she might rub people up the wrong way, because she’s fiercely competitive from her days as an athlete.
“She’s been through more in her life than a few bugs.
“I’m hoping for Kardashian gossip, she’ll be epic!”
