I’M A Celeb fans were all left saying the same thing about the show’s hosts Ant and Dec during Frankie Bridge’s trial tonight.

The pair, who usually insist on trials being followed to the letter, instead offered her no end of help.

I’m A Celebrity fans fumed that Ant and Dec were helping too much
Frankie Bridge was spun around in a cage filled with rotten fruit

At one point they repeatedly prompted the Saturdays singer, who had to name Cornish pasty ingredients while being spun around: “Did you say swede?”

One fan insisted: “#frankie had it so easy – @antanddec were basically giving her the answers.”

Another wrote: “That trial was pointless! Ant & Dec asked that woman Frankie the questions and then gave her the answers! Stupid!”

A third said the same sort of help wasn’t extended to Arlene Phillips when she had to scrabble around for stars in a box.

They wrote: “Sooo you’re telling me that ant and dec are quick to help frankie pankie with her trial yet they wouldn’t tell arlene where her missing star was???”

Frankie was showeded with the likes of offal, bad eggs, rotten fruit and veg and fish while quizzed by the pair.

On a question where she had to name cheeses, Ant told her: “One’s got a colour in its title.”

She eventually answered: “Red Leicester” getting herself a star for her campmates.

When asked: “How many fish fingers are eaten in the UK every day?” the pair told her go higher or lower until she got it exactly right.

And after being asked: “Name three ingredients in a classic Cornish pasty?” they prompted her to say Swede, even though she didn’t.

Frankie also struggled when asked: “Name three of the six countries that share a land border with Italy” replying: “England.”

Nonetheless, she bagged seven out of a possible nine stars for camp – with the celebrities being rewarded with octopus.
