HOLLY Willoughby has insisted it would be “impossible” to stay on This Morning if she didn’t get on with Phillip Schofield.

HOAR revealed there’s tensions behind the scenes after the close pals’ professional relationship became strained over recent months.

Insiders claim Holly and Phil’s relationship is strained backstage

Putting on a brave face at the Dancing on Ice 2020 launch last night, Holly told the BBC: “You couldn’t do the amount of hours of TV that we do with each other without getting on.”

Her co-star Phil then denied there was a feud, adding anyone who thought that “was mistaken”.

He said: “We have such a laugh. We’re best mates, she’s like the sister I never had. I just adore working with her, she’s just perfect.”

But eight star ITV presenters told HOAR about what they describe as a toxic environment at This Morning.

Holly has been friends with Phil for 13 years

All were too scared to come forward, but it was revealed the shows Friday presenterRuth Langsfordmade an official complaint against Phillip, 57.

It follows Britains Got Talent judgeAmanda Holdens allegation that Phillip got her banned from presenting on the show.

One household name said: For so long people have been silenced because they are scared for their job. If they speak out publicly about the atmosphere they fear there could be repercussions.
