STORM Barra has caused chaos at the I’m A Celebrity castle – after wind brought down a huge tree and caused a landslide.

Gwrych Castle, in North Wales, was battered by heavy wind and rain and caused a large rock to fall behind the Grade I listed building.

Chaos has hit I’m A Celebrity after a tree fell onto set as Storm Barra hits Wales
It comes just days after the programme was sensationally pulled off air for three days after the set was battered by Storm Arwen

The large stone fell onto a production path, blocking access to and from the camp for crew.

A huge tree branch also snapped off, making the route temporarily unavailable until it was deemed safe.

It meant until they had moved the objects, the only way in and out of the structure was via the main castle gates.

A source said: “Production and ITV bosses are hoping this is as bad as things get with Barra.

“Obviously Storm Arwen caused them no end of headaches. But this time around it’s been predicted that the wind won’t be as bad.

“That said, it’s still been wet and blowy enough to bring down a huge tree branch, and cause a rock formation to slide behind the castle, ending up on a production path.

“They’re crossing their fingers that this is the worst of it and they can get to the end of the series with no further delays.”

The show was plunged into chaos last week and was plunged into chaos – being sensationally pulled off air for three days after the set was battered by Storm Arwen.

In a shock move, the stars were evacuated from the castle and returned to their quarantine, and did not return for over 48 hours.

We told yesterday how producers fear that the iconic Celebrity Cyclone challenge will be nixed because of the fresh storm.

They are worried that the challenge – which sees stars attempting to grab stars from a slippery hill as they’re blasted with wind, water cannons, foam and balls – will freeze over.
