I’M A Celebrity viewers are convinced AJ Pritchard secretly left the camp after he only appeared once in last night’s show.

The former Strictly pro’s fleeting appearance comes days after viewers questioned if he’d disappeared following another quiet spell.

AJ Pritchard fans are unhappy with the screen time he’s getting on I’m A Celeb

One inquisitive fan wrote on Twitter: “Why isn’t AJ Pritchard being given air time? Has he left?”

Another thinks more trials for the dancer would help increase his air time, writing: “#imacelebrity is good but I would like to see @Aj11Ace doing more trials.”

A third wrote: “Not sure if it’s just the production editing, but cant help but feel @Aj11Ace looks abit left out on #ImACeleb? Hes not really being involved much we need to get him on a trial!!”

Show insiders have told us AJ, 26, has been on set the whole time, but it seems the edit has favoured other campmates.

Other fans have complained that stars such as Shane Richie, Vernon Kay and Beverley Callard are dominating screen time, leaving others firmly in the background.

Yesterday the programme confirmed its finale is just over one week away.

The ITV reality show had to move to Wales this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and while it might feel for some like the series has only just started, the end is already in sight.

The I’m a Celebrity final air date has been confirmed

One of the celebs will be crowned the first King or Queen of the Castle – as opposed to the jungle.

And that decision will be made in just over a week, as the final has been confirmed to air on Friday, December 4.

The finale will air at 9pm on ITV and the episode will be one hour and 35 minutes long.

Jordan North is currently the bookies’ favourite

Currently, the bookies’ favourite to win is DJ Jordan North, with Ladbrokes giving him evens to win.

Following behind is Vernon at 10/3 and Giovanna Fletcher at 9/2.

Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Vernon’s odds have taken a dive in the right direction and it’s now looking like a serious three-horse race for glory against Jordan and Giovanna.”

I’m a Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
