I’M A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec have revealed an immunity twist ahead of the series’ first elimination tonight.

Six of this year’s camp mates are currently ‘cursed’ following the Day Of Reckonings trials, meaning they have been living off only rice and beans.

But although the other six have been feasting on chicken and veg, it does NOT mean they are safe from being booted out of the jungle.

All 12 camp mates will now go head-to-head in a bid to avoid elimination – with one being dumped TONIGHT.

Addressing the camp mates, Ant told them: “Currently, six of you are cursed.

“But that could be about to change with another day of reckonings.

They will now fight to stay that way to avoid being put up for the public vote

“Yesterday was just about food, but today is also about immunity from the first public vote off.”

Dec went on to explain: “For those of you who are already cursed, there will be a chance to free yourselves.

“For those you are currently free, you’ll be fighting to stay that way.”

The lads then disappeared out of the jungle, leaving the camp mates to digest the latest bit of news.

Former rugby player James Haskell then concluded: “We’re all against each other again.”

Ant told viewers that they will find out on tonight’s show who will be the first of this year’s camp mates to leave.

It has not yet been revealed how both the public vote and elimination will unfold during the episode.

Meanwhile, bookies have already given their prediction on who will be first to go, with Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell being tipped for the chop.

The gang were told the news in last night’s show

Andrew is currently free from the ‘reckonings curse’, however, if he fails to stay this way, Ladbrokes believe he will be first out.

The star has been caught up in a series of jungle wrangles, most notably with footballer Ian Wright, which they think is to blame.

The bookmaker’s spokesperson Jessica O’Reilly said: “Andrew’s failed to really create a decent rapport with his camp mates, let alone the public, and the odds suggest he’ll be the first celebrity to be voted out of the jungle.”

Along with Andrew, Nadine Coyle, Adele Roberts, Roman Kemp, Myles Stephenson and Andy Whyment are currently free from the curse.

Kate Garraway, James Haskell, Ian Wright, Caitlyn Jenner, Cliff Parisi and Jacqueline Jossa are not.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
