Caitlyn will now have to pick a deputy to take over from Jacqueline Jossa.

She’ll be allowed to sleep in the leaders cabin and dish out chores amongst the camp.

Extra Camp co-hosts Joel Dommett and Emily Atack revealed she’ll take charge tonight, with Joel saying: “The new camp leader will be….Caitlyn!”

Her appointment comes after James scolded his foot and was angry with dish washer Andrew Maxwell as he skipped his chores.

However, Caitlyn had told Andrew to take a break after he’d picked up 10 stars to feed the camp in his solo Bushtucker trial.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn risked the wrath of producers and extended another act of kindness when she fed Ian Wright a corn on the cob back that she’d smuggled into the camp.

The generous act was appreciated by the former footballer who wolfed down the leftovers while trying to the hide the food from cameras in his hammock.

But Caitlyn’s flouting of the rules didn’t go down well with the show’s producers who took it out on everyone by reducing their rations.

And viewers were left outraged as the whole camp was punished and reduced everyone’s rations for Caitlyn’s rule break.

Caitlynpreviously appeared on the US version of I’m A Celeb, and also starred in Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The star, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, became a professional athlete after she won a football scholarship to Graceland College in Iowa.

However, she had to quit the game after a knee injury, at which point the Graceland track coach then encouraged Caitlyn to try her hand at the decathlon.

Caitlyn later went on to win the gold medal for the event at the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976, earning the unofficial title of the “World’s Greatest Athlete”.

The former athlete is said to have been paid 3.2million from E! for her reality show, I Am Cait, and she is reportedly worth 65million.
