Who is Nadine Coyle and when was she in Girls Aloud?
Nadine, 34, was born in Northern Ireland on June 15, 1985 and is a singer and model.
She shot to fame in 2002, when she starred on Popstars: The Rivals, aged just 17 years old.
The show saw her win a place in Girls Aloud and despite her young age, she was put at the centre of the band as its lead singer.
The band became a huge hit with songs like Something Kinda Ooh, The Promise and Love Machine.

To many, Girls Aloud looked like the best of friends. But after their split in 2013, things reportedly turned frosty between the pals.
Nadine has let slip on various occasions that there was a rift between the girls.
During an appearance on Celebrity Juice in 2018, Nadine admitted that her and Cheryl were “never friends”.
When the band split in 2013, Nadine claimed that she wasn’t consulted, and slammed their decision to quit.
Cheryl retaliated in an interview with Attitude Magazine, saying that Nadine was “full of s**t”.

Once Girls Aloud split up, rumours flew around that Nadine had decided to end things with the group due to a burgeoning solo career.

Nonetheless, as she had fronted some of the girlband’s biggest hits Nadine’s career looked really promising – but her first album was a complete flop.
