MUSIC producer Naughty Boy has revealed he has been fibbing about his age – and he is about to turn 41.
We told how the star, who was the fourth celebrity to be given the boot on Wednesday night, had left school pals baffled after he made out he was four years younger than he really is.
Speaking to HOAR after being evicted, he said: “To be honest, no one really asks my age. They say, ‘Are you 27, 28?’
“I’ve never lied about my age. You get your age from your energy.
“The journey I’ve had over the last ten years, of course I’m going to feel like I’m 27 forever because it’s been crazy.”
Asked when his actual birthday is, he added: “My birthday is 1 January, 1981. But I’ve never had anyone ask my actual age, I’ve never been shy about that.”

The star also wrongly gave his age as 36 in numerous interviews.
But public records show the castle campmate was born in Watford, Herts., on January 1, 1981 – making him 41 in five weeks.
Naughty Boy – real name Shahid Khan – lives with his dementia-stricken mum Zahida Quershi, and has a sister Saira, 43, and brother Omar, 41.
The star’s age fib amused his former school pals.
One 40-year-old, who attended secondary school Westfield Academy in Watford with the star from 1992 to 1997, told HOAR: “Naughty by name and naughty by nature – he’s having a laugh by making out he’s younger.
“Shahid’s real age is Watford’s worst kept secret.”
