SOAP star Andy Whyment seems to be loving his time in the I’m A Celeb jungle so far and he is very close to a potential spot in the final and having a chance to win the show.

But despite enjoying his time on one of his favourite shows, the Corrie star is most certainly missing his family, so what do we know about them?

Who is Andy Whyment’s wife Nichola Willis?

Andy Whyment’s wife is 32-year-old Nichola Willis.

The pair first got together 14 years ago and married each other in 2007.

Before entering the jungle, Andy, who has played Kirk Sutherland in Corrie for 19 years, said he has a great relationship with his wife.

He told OK! Magazine: ‘Shes gorgeous! Im a very lucky bloke, weve been together 14 years and we just dont argue, we get on so well.”

The couple live in Atherton, a town in Wigan.

Do the couple have any children?

Andy and Nichola have two children together, 11-year-old Thomas and 9-year-old Hollie.

Andy was seen sobbing in the bush telegraph on I’m A Celeb, sad about how much he missed his children.

He was seen crying again on last night’s episode of I’m A Celeb after his letter from home was read out.

However, the 38-year old will not be adding to his family after undergoing a vasectomy.

He said: “There’s no chance of having anymore kids as I had the snip a few years ago.”

“We said we wanted two kids and we have been really fortunate to have a boy and a girl.”

What has Nichola Willis said about her husband being on I’m A Celeb?

Speaking to The Mirror, Nichola explained how herself and the children reacted seeing their husband and father cry when he received his care package.

She explained: It really upset us to see Andy upset, when you see him laughing and joking it makes it so much easier as I know he is enjoying the experience.

I knew it would mean an awful lot to him to get the photograph of the family.”

Honestly, I cant wait to get to Australia so we are at least in the same country as him. I am hoping that I dont cry and make a show of myself when I first see him but I will most definitely be giving him a big kiss and hug.
