CALUM Best has signed up to his 45th reality show appearance since first shooting to fame in 2005 on Celebrity Love Island.

Despite already appearing in MTV’s Ex On The Beach earlier this year, the TV personality, 39, is looking for love again on the show’s spin off Ex In The City.

The show will follow a similar format to Ex On The Beach, with the celebs former flames making surprise appearances to either make or break their ‘holiday’, but will be filmed in London due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

It will be the hunk’s 45th appearance on a reality series after shooting to fame 15 years ago, according to The Mirror.

Over the years he’s tried his luck with Celebs Go Dating, Love Island and EOTB, but after failing every time, Calum is up for another go at trying to find The One.

A source told The Daily Star: “Calum was approached by producers and jumped at the chance to take part.

He’s gone on to appear in various other dating shows including Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating

“They’re thrilled he’s signed up. Everyone at MTV reckons the new format will be a winner with viewers.

“Just as the dates are going well, they’ll send in the ex and let the drama unfold.”

Calum took part in the all-star version of Ex On The Beach earlier this year alongside Love Island’s Georgia Harrison, Geordie Shore’s Sophie Kasaei and The Valleys star Lateysha Grace, but failed to find a woman who could sweep him off his feet.

Speaking to The Mirror about his decision to take part in the show, he said: “I’m doing it because I’m still f*****g single and in the hope of finding someone and the hope that this might be the one.

Calum didn’t manage to find love on Ex On The Beach this year either

“The thing is, if I can’t find a f*****g Mrs in my private life then I’m going to try elsewhere.

“I remember I was once told, if opportunities come your way take them and if they’re opportunities that are with the best intentions then go for it and this came about.”

Last month it was revealed that Paul Hollywood’s ex Summer Monteys-Fullam also signed up for the spin-off show.

Calum and Summer will be joined by TOWIE’s Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell, who the red head beauty was linked with shortly after her split with the GBBO star.
