THE Dublin born best pal of late TV star Caroline Flack has revealed her heartbreak at losing her dear friend.
Fiona Fagan, from Finglas, said her friend’s death has left her “beyond heartbroken”.
Fiona told the Irish Sun: “I worked as a stylist on Love Island in the UK, I met Caroline when I first moved to London.
“We were both dancers so I am beyond heartbroken, that this is how it ends that she felt that dark, that was the only answer for her.
“She had her loud dirty infectious laugh, she was kind, she was just sparky.”
Fiona also spoke of how she texted her on Friday afternoon but heard nothing back.
She continued: “I messaged her on Friday lunchtime, she didn’t respond. I was just reaching out of sending some love to her, to give her some positivity.”
Ex-Strictly winner Caroline, 40, died at her new flat in East London, where her body was discovered yesterday morning.
Fiona, who is a stylist on Dancing With The Stars, has been friends with Caroline for nearly two decades after meeting in London when they both worked as dancers.
Fiona said: “She was upset the case was going ahead.
“Not being able to see her boyfriend, the press, losing Love Island, all of that, that’s what she was … she just wanted love.
“That’s why she loved the show. That was her thing.
“I want to stress she had lovely friends and support, they were staying with her.”
Fiona also worked with Caroline as her stylist on Love Island in the UK.
She is now back in Dublin working on Dancing With The Stars and was keeping in contact with Caroline.
