An inquest into her death, which started yesterday at Poplar Coroner’s Court, heard police attended after being flagged down near the property and gave CPR at the scene in a desperate bid to save her.

Mollie had gone rock-climbing with Caroline just days before her tragic death.

They spent Valentine’s Day together when Mollie took the heartbreaking last picture of Caroline the day before her death.

In a tribute last week, Mollie wrote: “I can’t even find the right words to say here and I’m sure it sounds rambly but she deserves a million tributes and more.

“Everyone remember her in the best way. Carrie always had a smile on her face, a naughty laugh and her heart open wide.

“When she let you in, you were the luckiest and she taught me to love everyone and forgive everyone. She forgave so easily and loved so hard and I’ll never ever ever stop loving her.”

Two months before her death Caroline had been charged with assaulting boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27, at her then home in North London.

Caroline strongly denied the charge and her management team slammed the CPS for pursuing the case despite Lewis saying he didn’t support the prosecution.
