EARLIER this week I told you how Celebs Go Dating had become the latest show to be derailed by COVID-19 after one of its stars tested positive.

And now I can reveal that the celeb in question was former Love Island contestant CURTIS PRITCHARD.

Curtis Pritchard is the famous singleton who has forced Celebs Go Dating to halt production.

The unlucky reality star got his positive test result despite not showing any symptoms and having isolated for two weeks before going into the show to make sure there was minimal risk.

The whole show has now been postponed as a result as each of the famous faces – including ex-Strictly contestant Karim Zeroual, Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann, DJ Tom Zanetti – all quarantine until everyone has the all-clear.

It’s a nightmare time for Curtis after he revealed his and AJ’s nan died on Friday.

And it’s double bad luck for Curtis who tested positive just weeks after his brother AJ did, which nearly cost him a place in the I’m A Celebrity… castle.

A source said: “It’s just terrible luck for Curtis. He followed all the rules by the letter of the law, quarantined for two weeks and kept himself to himself.

“And he still managed to somehow pick up this virus.

“He is absolutely fine, has no symptoms and feels fit as a fiddle. But it’s put the brakes on the whole show until he gets the all-clear and everyone else continues to test negative.”

The news comes after the boys lost their beloved grandma, Angela, who died on Friday.

Their grandad Leslie said: “One of her greatest pleasures right until the end of her life was seeing AJ and Curtis, as well as her other grandchildren, flourish in their careers, and she made it clear she would hate for them to give up their dreams.

“l want to thank everybody for being so kind during such a difficult and sad time for our family.”
