CHRIS Hughes screamed Im not a c*** in an expletive-filled rant as he attacked a photographer on Tuesday night.

The former Love Island star pushed and kicked the snapper as he yelled at him claiming hed been called a c***.

A furious Chris threw punches

The incident kicked off as Chris and girlfriend Jesy Nelson were leaving the O2 in Greenwich after the TV awards earlier this week.

After throwing punches at the snapper, Chris went on an almost four minute long rant as his manager tried to calm him down.

The Love Islander was heard telling the crowd outside the venue that he was a nice guy from the Costwolds and no different to any of them.

“I’m a nice guy from the Cotswolds,” he says.

Chris went on a rant claiming he was just a “nice guy” and not “a c***”

“I’m not a p***y, I’m not gonna bow down. I’m not a c***.”

He continues: “Why am I a c**t? You don’t know me. Tell me. You have no right.

“F**k this, you don’t know me. You don’t know me. Don’t call someone a c*** you don’t know. You don’t know me, why am I?…’”

The incident was later investigated by police and Chris apologised for “distracting” from Jesy’s win on her big night.

Jesy paid tribute to “all the people I love” after her epic NTAs win – but failed to mention her boyfriend Chris.

However, after Chris posted a gushing apology online, Jesy today confirmed that they’re still together with a cute pic of them together on the red carpet – and two red hearts.

Chris is being investigated for assault and damaging the photographer’s camera in the shocking bust-up.

He apologised to his Little Mix girlfriend and claimed he was acting in “self-defence”. The photographer has denied calling Chris names, and claims the star misheard after he muttered under his breath.

The former Love Island star, 27, had been at the NTAs supporting Jesy Nelson who bagged the award for Best Factual Programme, at the star-studded ceremony.
