DANI Dyer shared a heart melting video of baby Santiago sleeping – and has begun the countdown to being able to drink gin again.

The Love Island star, 24, took to Instagram to share the adorable footage of her newborn snoozing away with her 3.4 million followers.

Dani and boyfriend Sammy Kimmence have kept their fans up to date with their son’s progress on social media since they welcomed him into the world last month.

And last night the reality favourite couldn’t help but film the tot when he was peacefully sleeping on the sofa.

She captioned the post: “I wish he slept like this of a night time,” with a laughing face emoji.

Once Santiago was settled, Dani raided the kitchen for some tasty treats and stumbled across a tin of classy gin and tonic.

Dani could be staying clear of alcohol because she’s breastfeeding or is just missing going to the pub due to current coronavirus restrictions.

She told fans: “Seen this in the back of the cupboard… I can’t wait to be able to have one of these again.”

Last night the new mum also admitted to her followers that she “felt good” after treating herself to a pamper session.

It comes weeks after Dani told her followers that she took more than six days to wash her hair after giving birth to her bundle of joy.

But now nearly a month after welcoming baby Santiago into the world, Dani feels more at ease with her new role and is embracing motherhood like a pro.

Instagram has been a real help for the new mum as she begged for help after her son came out in an awful rash after breastfeeding.

However not everyone has been supportive of new mum Dani.

Earlier this week she had to hit back at mum-shamers who accused her of “overheating” her child.

The star received numerous messages about her choice of attire after she shared a pic of her son in a onesie and wooly hat indoors.

She was also forced to defend a “naughty” jumper that she wore to her mum Jo – which was a pink top with the pun “Hardcore Prawn” written on it.
