DR Alex George horrified as trolls mock his acne and say he look like “death” after working long shifts on A&E.

The Love Island star, 30, has been keeping his fans up to date with his life as he battles the virus on the frontline.

Dr Alex was attacked by his appearance

However, some people have not been nice to Alex and sent him mean comments about his looks.

Sharing them on Instagram, the messages slated him for having bags under his eyes and spots – despite him working long hours for the NHS.

It read: “jesus will you sort out them eyes with a bit of cream or something.. and do something with that big spot next to ur mouth.. so distracting and a struggle to watch the vid.”

The second message said: “giving out health content youd be better to take care of yourself first you look ruff fair bad spots and eyes are like death”

The horrible messages
He asked people to be kinder

He captioned the image: “I have had acne most of my life, not ashamed of it. If you don’t like it, don’t watch my videos!”

Alex then filmed a message on his way to a shift, saying: “Thanks for the kind messages everyone. I’m just on my way into A&E now.

“You can’t please everyone, some people have got bad things to say it doesn’t matter what you do.

“I really appreciate all your kindness. Yeah I have acne, I sometimes get flare ups, and that’s life. No one’s perfect, no one’s skin’s perfect, let’s be kind to each other.”

Dr Alex with his girlfriend Amelia

The NHS hero and former reality star has finally reunited with his girlfriend Amelia Bath after two months apart.

He shared a picture of the moment they saw each other again for a picnic in the sunshine.

However, following social distancing rules to the centimetre, the pair had to sit on separate rugs two metres apart.

He wrote: “After SO long apart what a feeling to finally see you AB ❤ So close yet so far staying 2 meters apart.. but right now we will take what we can get x.”

Alex posted the same picture on his Instagram Story, explaining: “First time in two months.”
