BOSSES at MTV are desperate to sign up former Love Island couple Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins for Ex On The Beach.
The move comes after they split earlier this month – with The Sun on Sunday revealing Maura had grown close to her Dancing On Ice skate partner Alexander Demetriou.
But neither she nor Curtis is keen on the offer, with both busy on recent projects.
Curtis has been a hit on BBC1’s The Greatest Dancer and Maura is on to a good thing with all her ITV appearances.
A telly source said: “Seeing them has out their relationship would be a ratings winner.
“But neither party is keen despite the offer of a huge pay packet.”
Fans can probably guess what Maura would say about Curtis on the show.
At the weekend, she posted an Instagram story about her cleaning the toilet with her ex’s toothbrush.
Passing it off as a ‘lockdown challenge’, Maura can be seen holding up an electric toothbrush in the bathroom mirror.
She declares: “This is what happens when you f*** a girl over.” Maura then begins scrubbing a toilet bowl, saying: ‘Hmmm, nice toothbrush. Scrub the toilet with that. Scrub it…”
She has captioned her picture with: “Too all the f***boys (oops).”
Then, in a second video added to her Instagram stories, she can be seen holding a large pink sex toy while standing in the lounge.
Maura tells the person filming: “His name is Jerry.”
The Love Island 2019 star turns it on, before waving it around manically at two men who are sat on the sofa.
Maura bursts into hysterical laughter and falls on the floor at the end of the clip.
Irish beauty Maura previously told fans she had been nominated to take part in a ‘lockdown challenge’.
Thanking a pal for the nomination, she admitted: “I am about to ruin my own life with these videos.
“Buttt…this is a bit of entertainment for you all.”
Maura and professional dancer Curtis met on last year’s series of Love Island.
The couple announced their split earlier this month just hours after a rep insisted they were still together.
In a statement on Instagram, Maura said: “Curtis and I have made the decision to separate.
“We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.
“There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side.
“We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future.”
Curtis later posted a cryptic message on his own Instagram page, saying: “I can always rely on mum and dad to support me and tell the truth….”
