JAMIE Jewitt found his dream woman in the form of Camilla Thurlow on Love Island, and now the couple are expecting their first child.
But how old is the model and reality TV star – whose famous girlfriend is due to give birth later this year – and when did he appear in the villa?
Who is Jamie Jewitt from Love Island and what is his background?
Jamie is a 30-year-old model and actor from Essex – and he found fame on ITV2 dating reality show Love Island in 2017.
Speaking ahead of entering the villa, he said: “I’m not really much of a dater, I’ve spent a long time single, just having fun.
“I lived in New York for 10 years and was single for most of it. I split up with my ex about 6 months ago, we were together a year and a half.
“I just took some time to go out, do my bit and learn a bit about myself before settling down.”
However, he found love on the show with girlfriend of three years, Camilla, 30, and on May 17th, 2020 the couple revealed they are expecting their first child together.
What happened to Jamie on Love Island?
When asked who he would like to get it on with in the villa he had one name: “Camilla”.
Speaking about the type of girl he likes, he said: “I like girls that are laid back, chilled out, comfortable with themselves.
“I like girls to be confident with themselves, intellectual, share the same interests.
“I don’t like materialistic girls because that’s the opposite to me.”
After approaching the explosive ordnance disposal specialist on his first day, the pair bonded over their love of reading. They grew closer, and finished as runners-up in the series.
He told HOAR he was happy her relationship with Prince Harry didn’t work out.
What has Jamie done since Love Island?
Shortly after leaving the villa, Jamie joined Camilla on a visit to a Greek refugee camp.
Later, in 2017, he thanked her for helping support him in his battle with depression.
The star appeared with her in a one-off ITVBe show, What Camilla Did Next, in January 2019, which explored their relationship and saw them travel to Cambodia to carry out charity work.
