LOVE Island’s newest couple Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan have been enjoying a loved-up break after falling for each other during lockdown.
The pair are on a trip to the coast where they have been doing puzzles, drinking wine – and even stopping to pose together with staff in Morrisons while out shopping.
HOAR Online revealed yesterday that the pair had become an item after his romance with Demi Jones came to an end – and they started messaging.
And with lockdown over, the pair headed off on a mini-holiday in Lucie’s native south-west England.
They have both posted footage of their luxury accommodation – a futuristic dome with its own bubbling hot tub surrounded by gorgeous scenery.
And last night, Lucie revealed they had hit the shops to stock up on entertainment – posting a picture of her haul on Instagram.
The 22-year-old, from Newquay in Cornwall, had picked up a puzzle featuring an idyllic river scene, two foam-blaster guns and the game Speak Out.
The pair quickly made headway, with the pieces scattered over the floor of their luxury holiday let alongside a wine glass and a packet of Carr’s water biscuits.
Lucie and Luke confirmed they were in the same place when they posted pictures of the same scene on Instagram.
A source exclusively told HOAR Online: “They were messaging each other over Instagram during lockdown and as the rules relaxed their romance blossomed.
“Luke wasn’t single for long after he split with his ex Demi and Lucie is his dream woman – he can’t believe his luck.”
Winter Love Island star Demi Jones split with heating engineer Luke M after she claimed he put “little effort” into their relationship.
The pair were never official despite coming out of the villa as a couple, and she has revealed the lack of communication during the coronavirus pandemic sealed their fate.
Meanwhile, Lucie split with her Love Island boyfriend Joe Garrett late last year.
