JACK Fincham surprised everyone when he revealed he’d secretly had a baby with his ex.

It came as a shock to fans just nine months after his split from Love Island champion Dani Dyer – but were the clues there the whole time?

Jack Fincham revealed he’s now a proud dad

Baby girl Blossom was born on Friday weighing 8lb 2oz after a fling with his pal of ten years – 29-year-old health compliance officer, Casey Ranger.

Jack chose to keep news about their unborn child private while he “prepared for the new responsibility”.

But he surprised fans by sharing adorable snaps of his daughter at the weekend.

It was even a revelation to ex-girlfriend Dani daughter of EastEnders star Danny who revealed she only found out after hed posted online.

Here we take a look at how Jack had kids and family on the brain.

Ahead of his first child’s birth, Jack revealed on social media he’s been spending a lot of time with his nearest and dearest.

Countless pictures show him spending quality time with his brother Oliver who he appeared to lean on throughout Casey’s pregnancy and lovingly called him “our kid”.

Sharing a snap of himself, Jack told fans: “Selfie never hurt no one. Happy Sunday, a time for family.”

Reconnecting with his inner child

Jack felt like a kid again on a trip to Disneyland Paris

Jack headed to Disneyland Paris in November last year for a fun-filled work trip.

The 28-year-old joked he’d been telling everyone he was Prince Eric from Little Mermaid as he bounded around in the magical kingdom.

He told fans: “Loving @DisneyParis_EN feel like a kid again! Forever grateful for where I get to work now!”

Defensive about parents getting online abuse

Jack started to feel parental responsibilities before Blossom was even born

Appearing on a podcast about online trolls called Don’t Filter Feelings, Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey opened up on the abuse she gets about her little girl.

She says: “It hurts that people are judging me for the mother I am, when I know I try my best.”

Jumping in to defend her, Jack said: “You know you’re a good mum. You don’t need someone telling you otherwise.”

He then gave an angry stare directly at the camera.

Making the most of his single life

Before Blossom’s birth, Jack spent his summer making the most of being free to travel abroad and party with his mates.

He also signed up to Celebs Go Dating and joined stars like Lauren Goodger, Megan Barton-Hanson and Lee Ryan in looking for love.

Jack looked happy to be topping up his tan and soaking up some Vitamin D as he enjoyed time in Ibiza with Towie’s Sam Mucklow and Tenerife with Joe Swash.

The 28-year-old also partied in Crete after flying out with his co-stars to film the Celebs Go Dating final.

Trying to escape reality

Jack kept shtum about becoming a father until baby Blossom was born because he wanted time to prepare for his life changing forever.

And judging by his social media, Jack tried to escape reality over summer as he prepared for his life to change.

While in Greece staying at Abaton Island Resort & Spa, Jack posted a stunning seaview snap telling followers: “Don’t wanna go home.”

Before heading home from Ibiza, Jack insisted: “I ain’t leaving.”

He looked in great shape as he spent time soaking up the sun

Accepting he had to get back to face his responsibilities, Jack said: “Until next time… unreal weekend with good people.

“Back to reality now.”

Back in boxing training, Jack shared a quote about life changing.

He said: “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth” and later revealed he was “sweating out his sins”.

And who could forget him missing his appearance on This Morning after a night of wild partying with Lauren Goodger after the Celebs Go Dating wrap party in August.

Secretly revealing the news to friends

One of Jack’s best friends – Doctor Alex who he met in the Love Island villa – has been very vocal online about Jack becoming a dad.

He’s been leaving messages online gushing about how “proud” his is of his pal and telling him “love ya.”

At the end of July, Alex may have been secretly dropping hints about Jack becoming a dad with a post on Twitter.

Sharing a hilarious video of him and Jack racing their prams during Mummy and Daddy week in the villa, Dr Alex said: “Lest we forget.” with a baby emoji.

The clip shows the pair messing around as they whizz around the villa before Dr Alex spectacularly trips and his baby flies out of the pram.

Owning up to his responsibilities

Over Christmas and New Year gave Jack some time for reflection and he talked about how 2019 had changed him.

He hinted that he was turning over a new leaf as the “sun sets on not only 2019, but a whole decade”.

Jack said: “Happy Boxing Day everybody. 2019 has been an eye opener and a lesson.

“Here’s to 2020 I hope you have a happy, healthy and successful year ahead.

“Let’s realise some dreams and have an amazing day.”
