It read: “You can’t judge others. You never know what is going on in their mind or body.”

Holding her hand was boyfriend Carl Woods, 32, who wore a white T-shirt with a photo of the late DJ Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, who committed suicide in 2018.

The words “Be Kind” will be forever associated with the late star and the inspirational quote has gone viral today on the first anniversary of her death as friends and fans pay tribute.

Louise Redknapp remembered her friend Caroline in an emotional post

Last week Caroline’s friend Kristina Rihanoff shared her regret over not contacting her in the months before she died.

The Russian dancer, 43, shared: “I should have reached out…I feel such guilt.

“During Strictly she had a lot of difficulties, coming out of a relationship and so on.

“She had a few wobbles on the tour and didn’t want to perform, so we knew there were a lot of things going on with her emotional state.

“But she said then, ‘I’m in a better place, I’m focusing on new things’ and I was saying to her, ‘I really am happy for you.’”

Kristina said she has since cherished a photo of the pair together in Los Angeles, after they became close when Caroline won Strictly in 2014.

Looking back, the dancer admitted she has been berating herself and wishes she had done more to help her friend.

She told the Mirror: “Maybe it wouldn’t make a difference, but looking back I think maybe I should have reached out and I felt really sad about it.”
