Laura Whitmore reveals beloved pet dog Mick played key role in her and Iain Stirling’s wedding as she shares unseen snap

LOVE Island’s Laura Whitmore has been revealing more about her wedding to Iain Stirling, including how her pet pooch starred in it.

The couple, who are host and voiceover man on the ITV hit, got hitched in Dublin in November, HOAR revealed last month, and are now expecting a baby.

Laura has started sharing gorgeous pics of her big day and the latest includes her pet dog Mick.

The expecting mum beamed in her white suit as Iain held on a winding marble staircase of Dublin City Hall where they wed.

They looked down at the stairs as Mick made his way down underneath the arch of their hands.

Laura captioned the beautiful memory: “Happy 6th Birthday Mick! There with me every step of the way #mickspics  @conormcdphoto.”

They live in London with Mick who just turned six

Her fans loved the photo and the fact that Mick had such a special role to play at their wedding.

One fan wrote: “Gorgeous photo .”

Another added: “That’s so nice.”

And a third said: “This is so precious.”

Earlier this year, the 35-year-old presenter shared a picture of the couple at the lavishly decorated Dublin City Hall in her native Ireland in an all-white trouser suit, clutching a bouquet of flowers.

Scottish Iain, 32, is shown alongside her in a black suit and tie, with the pair throwing their hands out in delight.

Laura told her followers on Instagram: “A year ago Iain asked me to marry him and we had the most magical, perfect ceremony.

“We loved having it to ourselves. We had been planning the perfect celebration and I will forever be so thankful that’s what we got.

“We have never spoken publicly about our engagement or wedding. Back at the time we never felt the need to say anything as it’s all such a personal experience.

“We also were too busy enjoying it! We’ve never shared this picture before now but a lot of people have contacted us and congratulated us the last month with good intentions so here’s to good news!”

She concluded: “Sending love to you and yours and here’s to 2021! Happy new year everyone! Wishing you all the love x.”

Laura and Iain revealed last month that they are expecting their first child, posting a picture of a Guns N Roses babygro on Instagram.

She wrote: “I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share – and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control.

“Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021. It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet.

“Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.

“I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade!”
