LEWIS Capaldi wined and dined a Paige Turley lookalike and said he wants to fall in love and get married as soon as possible.
The hit singer, 23, recently took part in an experiment in partnership with Peperami to help him find a new woman, where he selected a blind date based on the food they prepared for him.
The three girls lined up for a date with the Scotsman prepared three different dishes for the singer to try – nachos, chicken tikka masala and a tasty pasta bake.
But before picking which lucky lady he wanted to have a date with based on their cooking skills, he definitely out sold himself to the camera by stating that he’s got “bang on average genitalia”.
He then went on to declare: “I’m looking to fall in love and looking to have kids – tonight!”
And it was Megan – who looks very similar to his former flame – who won over Lewis’ heart with her classic Tex-Mex dish.
As the pair got chatting during their date, the blonde beauty asked if the pop star believes in “love at first bite”.
Lewis replied: “Nah. I’ll see you later. Nah, I’m joking. I wasn’t a believer Megan but then I’ve tried your nachos and I was head over heels.”
He added to the camera: “There was spice, there was fireworks and we will be wed tomorrow.”
When asked if he himself has ever tried to impress a girl in the kitchen, Lewis admitted that his skills in that department are lacking.
The Before You Go singer said: “No! I’ve never cooked for a girl to try and impress her because I don’t cook very well! I don’t have the necessary skills to do so!”
Lewis dated Love Island winner Paige on and off from 2014 to 2016 after meeting at college and she even inspired the Scots’ No1 hit Someone You Loved.
The blonde bombshell has since moved on from the funnyman with fellow reality star Finley Tapp and since winning the popular ITV2 dating show together, their relationship has gone from strength to strength.
The lovebirds moved in with each other in June after three months living with Paige’s parents in lockdown and they’ve swapped Scotland for a stylish apartment in Manchester.
Meanwhile, it doesn’t seem that Lewis is having much luck in love.
Last month HOAR exclusively revealed that the star split with 21-year-old student Catherine Halliday after falling for each other in February.
After seven months together, the couple decided to call it quits after they realised they had no future together.
The two met at the beginning of the year through mutual pals and after lockdown hit, spent the majority of the year apart with their families in Scotland.
But Lewis has wasted no time getting back on the market and is already looking for love again on the on A-list dating app Raya.
A pal said: “Lewis has no hard feelings towards Catherine and they’re still amicable but they decided it was best to call it a day.
“He’s at the beginning of his career, with a lot of opportunity at his fingertips, so it’s not the right time to settle down.
“He wishes Catherine all the best and has fond memories of their dates together.”
