LOVE Island star Mike Boateng will face a police misconduct hearing for alleged improper behaviour when he was a cop.

We exclusively revealed Boateng, 24, was being probed by Greater Manchester Police for approaching a vulnerable teen in uniform and offering to “show her a good time”.

Aaliyah Read, then 17, claims she was “targeted” by “predator” Boateng who got his colleague to stop the patrol car next to her outside McDonald’s where she worked.

The nervous youngster who suffers from anxiety attacks said he didn’t even visit the restaurant but went straight for her as she sat on her own on a lunch break in July 2018.

Despite being investigated for demanding Aaliyah, now 18, give him her number he was allowed to jet off and film for the hit ITV show earlier this year.

Now the force has confirmed he will be hauled before their professional standards branch for a string of allegations between 2018 and 2019.

They are thought to include his approach to Aaliyah and driving without a licence and he will appear by video link at Merseyside Police on April 16.

GMP said: “Michael Boateng will answer allegations that their conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Honesty and Integrity; and Discreditable Conduct contrary to the Police (Conduct) regulations 2012.”

A GMP spokesperson would not comment on the nature of the allegations.

Boateng previously claimed he’d been subjected to racist behaviour during his initial training with the force.

It was also alleged he’d been the victim of discrimination.

The force said in January that five officers were “dealt with” as a result but refused to say what action, if any, was taken against them.
