LOVE Island fans have showered Molly Smith with praised after her display of ‘maturity’ in last night’s episode.
The South African villa was rocked after scaffolder Callum Jones returned from Casa Amor with Molly, leaving Shaughna Phillips devastated.
After they returned, Molly told Callum to speak to Shaughna, and he tried to explain his reasons for bringing the Essex blonde back.
When quizzed by Laura Whitmore, Molly admitted she felt guilty for upsetting Shaughna and apologised.
She shared: “It’s not a nice feeling. It’s not nice having to upset someone else, so I’m sorry Shaughna.”
Meanwhile, Callum said that there was “something missing” with the democratic services officer and that he had gone with his heart by coupling up with Molly.
Playing Devil’s Advocate, presenter Laura asked the 25-year-old if she had anything say to the new couple, to which a seething Shaughna said: “Congrats, hun.”
Visibly upset by the brutal dumping, Shaughna raced up the stairs with “gobsmacked” pal Paige Turley to process what had just happened.
Unaware of the upset he caused, Callum was seen laughing with the rest of the boys before Molly grabbed his arm and encouraged him to speak to Shaughna.
“If he [Callum] thinks hes coming to pull me [for a chat], that boy has got another thing coming,” says Shaughna as she sees Callum walking in her direction.

Following the drama, viewers took to Twitter in their droves to slam Callum for his “heartlessness” towards Shaughna, and praised Molly for being “mature” and “respectful”.
