LOVE Island has sparked a huge 272 complaints – after just one show as the new series kicked off last night.

Furious viewers contacted the broadcasting regulator over Siannise Fudge comparing her partner to Aladdin and because of the appearance of big game hunter Ollie.

Viewers were not happy that Siannise Fudge compared Nas to Aladdin

A spokesperson for OfCom told The Sun Online: Weve had 272 complaints about last nights Love Island. 36 of these are about Nas being referred to as Aladdin.

231 are about the inclusion of Ollie as a contestant.

The added: “We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”

During last nights opening show Bristolian Siannise angered viewers when she called Nas Majeed Aladdin.

Viewers called for Ollie to get booted off the show

It wasn’t love at first sight for the pair as Siannise didn’t step forward for Nas when he was introduced to the girls.

After he chose her to be his partner, Siannise likened him to the famous Disney character.

While Nas, who has Caribbean and Asian heritage, seemed happy with the comparison, many viewers did not.

Taking to Twitter, one said: “This Aladdin thing is rubbing me the wrong way #loveisland.”

Another posted: “They need to stop this Aladdin stuff you know #LoveIsland.”

Siannise really didn’t want to couple up with Nas

Nas didn’t seem to mind the comparison to Aladdin

A third predicted an unhappy response, writing: “I got a feeling people are gonna be complaining to ofcom about the aladdin comments #loveisland.”

Elsewhere Ollie Williams appearance angered fans after The Sun revealed he is a big game hunter who has posed with an array of dead animals he’d killed in Africa.

They took to Twitter in their droves last night to encourage each other to vote him out first.

Animal-loving fans were left outraged by the shock revelation, even launching a petition to urge producers to axe him from the villa before he even entered.

Even the shows host Laura Whitmore, who has taken over from Caroline Flack, is not impressed by his hobby.

She said: I saw pictures of one Islander when I came back to London that did really upset me.

It did make me sad. I just want to acknowledge that.
