Love Island line up Towies Pete Wicks best friend Alisha LeMay for winter series

LOVE Island bosses have reportedly lined up Towie star Pick Wicks’ best friend Alisha LeMay for the upcoming winter series.

Alisha, 28, already boasts an impressive social media following with over 100,000 followers on Instagram.

ITV2 bosses believe her “fun-loving personality and large fan base” will be the perfect mixture for the first series of winter Love Island.

“Alisha is exactly the type of contestant ITV2 are looking for – she’s gorgeous, body confident and isn’t afraid to be herself,” a source told Mail Online.

“She already works as an influencer and has collaborated with brands like Pretty Little Thing, Missguided and ASOS, which all becomes part in parcel of being a Love Island star.”

The source added: “She’s an advocate of body positivity and often admits on her Instagram to never wanting to be perfect, which is an important message to young viewers of the show too.”

Alisha is close friends with Towie star Pete Wicks and she also parties with people like footballer Dele Alis’ girlfriend Ruby Mae, as well as Alicia Roddy, who dated Wes Nelson.

ITV2 declined to comment on whether Alisha is joining the line up.

Meanwhile, crew are rushing to put the finishing touches on the 5.3million Love Island villa in South Africa before the new series starts.

Crew have been pictured on the sprawling complex that has black sheeting covering various features in the garden.

The show is officially back on the 12thJanuary with Laura Whitmore hosting.

Caroline Flack stood down from her presenting role after being charged with assaulting boyfriend Lewis Burton.

The 40-year-old pleaded not guilty in court on the 23rd of December, just weeks before the new series starts, and will face trial in March.

Laura will alsoco-host Aftersun with boyfriend Iain Stirling – the main show’s narrator.

As The Sun Online revealed exclusively, Laura, 34, was locked in meetings with ITV before Christmas and quickly emerged as the new host.
