LOVE Island stars are among the cashed-up celebrities claiming handouts through the Covid furlough scheme.

2017 finalist Gabby Allen, who came under fire for flaunting her luxury lifestyle in the megarich city of Dubai after choosing to work there “for the forseeable”, is taking government money for “amusement and recreation activities” firm GDA Enterprises Ltd, despite being worth an estimated £1.3 million.

The personal trainer, 28, who said fleeing Tier 4 with reality star boyfriend Brandon Myers had been a “difficult decision”, has earned hundreds of thousands of pounds through her Shape Up brand and other fitness deals, and commands an estimated £2,4000 for a single Instagram post.

2016 winners Olivia and Alex Bowen, 29, also appear on an official government list of claimants with their business OAB Fashion Ltd.

The power couple are believed to be Love Island’s biggest earners with a combined net worth of approximately £4.4 million.

In November, Olivia, 27, bragged of earning up to £50,000 a month, admitting: “It makes me feel a bit sick saying it out loud.”

Former barber Kem Cetinay, 24, is claiming for his “service activities” company Kemcet Ltd, despite having earned an estimated £1.5 million since winning the ITV2 dating show in 2017 with ex-girlfriend Amber Davies, 28.

Accounts filed last year showed the company had over £503,000 in its coffers.

Alex and Olivia’s spokesman said: “Alex and Olivia followed the advice of the government to put one member of staff who would otherwise have been let go from the company because of a reduction of workload due to the pandemic onto the furlough scheme so they were not without an income.
