LEWIS Capaldis music was finally featured on last nights Love Island as Natalia and Jamie got the boot.
Producers chose to use the crooners track Before You Go as they made their exit after weeks of not including music from Paiges ex.
Paige who is coupled up with Finn on the show dated when they were at college between 2014 and 2016.
It was widely thought that his track Someone You Loved was written about her but last night he denied that was the case.
Lewis, 23, made the admission at the Brits when he was collecting his statue for Song Of The Year.
Swigging from a bottle of Buckfast, Lewis said: “Contrary to popular belief, a lot of people think this song is about my ex-girlfriend, who you can now see every night on Love Island.”
Laughing as the audience cheered, he continued: “It’s actually about my grandmother who has sadly passed away a few years ago.
“I hope to god that ITV don’t contact her to be on a reality TV dating show.”
On last nights show Natalia and Jamie got the boo when they ended up at the bottom after the couples voted the least compatible by their fellow Islanders had to face a public vote.
In a surprise twist, the remaining contestants were told that the other pairs at the bottom – Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu, and Molly Smith and Callum Jones – were still in danger.
The other Islanders will have to choose which will be eliminated, which will be seen in Wednesday’s show.
