LOVE Island’s Maura Higgins spent an evening out with co-star Chris Taylor — then returned to his home with an overnight bag.

The Irish beauty, 29, and Chris, 30, were seen going inside at 11.15pm after he drove her home so she could collect her things.

Maura told Fabulous magazine: ‘I’m getting sexy for my new man!’

It follows months of the couple insisting they were just good friends.

Maura, who was on Dancing On Ice earlier this year, and Chris spent the evening ice skating and tenpin bowling at Queensway rink in Notting Hill, West London.

They then had dinner together before she was later seen with Chris heading into his house.

Maura — who dated Curtis Pritchard, 24, until March after they coupled up on last year’s Love Island — said at the weekend that she and Chris were “like brother and sister”.

She told HOAR on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine on Sunday that she had not had sex for six months due to lockdown.

She added: “I 100 per cent feel the sexiest of my life. I’m getting sexy for my new man!

“Now I definitely feel like I’m ready to be with somebody.

“I’m 100 per cent single and ready to mingle. God help the next man I meet. I’m not sure he’ll be able to put up with me!”

Chris, who split with Harley Brash, 21, soon after leaving the Love Island villa, recently said of Maura: “We like each other.”

As to taking their friendship further, he said: “It’s never been something that’s crossed our minds and it wouldn’t happen for the fact that we don’t want to ruin our friendship.”
