THE dad of Love Island twins Jess and Eve Gale has leapt to their defence insisting they are super-smart and go to top London universities.
Brian Gale recently shared a post on Twitter that has clapped back at viewers of the show for doubting the level of intelligence his daughters have because of their glamorous looks.
Jess and Eve’s dad has hit back at claims they’re not intelligent by revealing prestigious education
The dad-of-two said: “It is possible to be a girl, look really good, wear make up and dye your hair blonde and still go to a good University.”
Fans of the show have been quick to judge the girls for their glam looks – and were even left irritated by the sisters licking their lips and teeth during chats with other islanders.
It comes after Brian tweeted about how proud he is of his two daughters who have gone on to further education at prestigious universities in London.
He said: “Love Island Jess attends University College London and her sister Eve attends King’s College London. So more competition.”
Their dad Brian stood up for the twins after people have doubted how clever they are because of their looks
The sisters entered the villa as bombshells and certainly caused a storm with their arrival
He also stood up for them earlier this week when X Factor star Jake Quickenden, 30 said that the twins were doing his “f***ing head in.”
Despite both admitting that they both go for the same type to the new islanders – the sisters revealed that they’ve never fought over a boy before.
X Factor star Jake wasn’t having any of it and tweeted:“The twins: ‘we never argue over a man’. The twins 10mins in: ‘you’re doing my f**king head in I like that one’ #loveisland”.
However, Brian quickly ran to his daughters defence by telling Jake: “I have seen them have a bigger disagreement over a t-shirt”.
In their spare time the girls work as VIP hostesses
Kings College London is where Jess studies Geography
Jess deferred a year of studying Psychology at University College London
The siblings parted ways after attending Waterbeach Primary School, Cambridge and Cottenham Village College, Cambridge, to attend different the highly thought of universities in the capital.
Eve studies Geography, where asJess began studying Psychology but decided to defer a year to appear on the popular ITV dating show.
Although many viewers and islanders have judged the two for their looks, the twins haven’t always looked like they do now.
The girls look worlds apart from how they look now after dying their hair
Earlier this week snaps of the twins with makeup free faces and their natural red hair surfaced the internet – and fans were left gobsmacked at how different they look.
Fans of the show have accused Jess of being desperate to stay in the villa after she was rejected by Mike.
The 20-year-old decided to pull Nas for a chat to suggest that they couple up together after he was friendzoned by Siannie Fudge.
She said: “I don’t think we’re in the same position but it’s kinda similar in that you’re in a couple and you’re not really feeling it and I’m in a couple where it’s not a couple basically.
“With the recoupling round the corner, obviously we both want to meet someone in here, how would you feel to being open to what happens?
Tonight viewers will see if Eve got her way with the sports science graduate as the girl who’s not coupled up with anyone will leave the villa.
