LOVE Island viewers have been left divided over new host Laura Whitmore after she replaced Caroline Flack.
The 34-year-old Irish beauty made her debut presenting the first series from South Africa this evening, introducing the first 10 Islanders to each other.
Laura oversaw the first five couples coming together, looking great in a plunging floral playsuit.
However, some viewers missed original host Caroline, 40, who has stepped away from this series after the recent turmoil in her personal life.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Laura Whitmore isn’t a patch on Caroline Flack.”
Another added: “laura whitmore is kiiiillling the vibe borin #LoveIsland.”
A third tweeted: “Laura Whitmore is not the right presenter for Love island. Its like shes presenting the news.”
But others were absolutely loving Laura on the show, with one writing: “Instantly prefer Laura Whitmore already!”
Another agreed, writing: “Really like Laura Whitmore on love island.”
A third added: “Well I like Laura Whitmore. I think shes smashed it. #LoveIsland.”
Meanwhile earlier today, Caroline took to social media to wish Laura good luck alongside her real life boyfriend Iain Stirling, who narrates the show.
She wrote: “Massive good luck to Laura, Iain and the team for tonight’s launch show… the first one always the best one.”
