LOVE Island’s Chris Hughes was rushed to A&E ahead of Cheltenham Festival.

The 27-year-old star documented his trip to hospital last night, with Chris joined by his agent Jim Erwood as they waited to be seen.

The reality TV hunk shared a glimpse of his ankle from the waiting room, adding a gif of an ambulance and the caption: “Just what we need on the eve of Cheltenham”.

He went on to film Jim as time ticked on, with the rep looking bored as he leaned on the hospital wall and stared at his phone.

Chris appeared to be in high spirits despite his injury, adding Calum Scott’s hit Dancing On My Own over the clips.

The star is yet to update fans on the medical emergency, and The Sun Online has contacted his rep for comment.

Chris is ITV’s racing presenter and a huge horse lover – with his own horse, Annie Mc, set to run at Cheltenham on Thursday.

The hospital dash comes after he opened up about the abuse he faces from being in the limelight.

The star told The Sun’s TV magazine: “We live in a world where people just want to destroy you. It’s a nightmare.”

Chris is dating Little Mix star Jesy Nelson

Chris shot to fame in the 2017 series of Love Island, where he coupled up with Olivia Attwood.

The pair split shortly after leaving the villa, but Chris remains best friends with fellow Islander Kem Cetinay, who won the series with then-girlfriend Amber Davies.

Chris is currently dating Little Mix beauty Jesy Nelson, who he was first linked to in January of last year.
