LOVE Island’s Connor Durman scared Sophie Piper by asking her to be his girlfriend as viewers beg her not to go there.
The coffee beans salesman finally admitted that he was being sensitive when he slammed his partner for saying the new boys were hot.
Tonight, he took Sophie over to the outdoor tables and said: “I want to ask you … will you be my girlfriend?”
Sophie told him to “shut up” and “don’t say that” before he quickly backtracked and said: “I’m joking. Obviously.”
He added: “I admit I was being sensitive with a whole lot of things, but you just know how to rub me up the wrong way.”
The pair kissed and made up, but viewers were not convinced that he wasn’t serious about starting a relationship – just two weeks after meeting Sophie.

On Friday, Sophie, 21, found herself in trouble with Connor, 25, for joking that the lads were her type on paper.
But after they made up, she tried to find out why he had been so sensitive.
However, Connor didn’t want to talk about it and walked away.
He told the lads today: “Sophie is telling me I’m sensitive but I’ve never been sensitive in my life.”
