LOVE Island’s Eve Gale brands Connagh Howard “not nice” after stealing Sophie Piper from Connor Durman in a shock recoupling.

The star became the second person to leave the villa on Friday when the recoupling ceremony left the twin without a man.

But that wasn’t the only shock of the night, as Love Island newbie Connagh chose to couple up with Rochelle Humes’ sister Sophie – despite her blossoming relationship with Connor.

Speaking about the decision in her exit interview, the twin said: “It was a bold move Its not nice now that she cant be with Connor.

“But hats off to Connagh, bold move, youve got to do what youve got to do but I was shocked.”

She added: “I do think Sophie and Connor were a good couple. I dont know whats going to happen now as obviously Sophies been picked by Connagh.”

The 20-year-old also said she wouldn’t want her twin to leave with her when she was eliminated.

She said: “I wouldnt have wanted her to [leave with me]. I dont think Id have let her leave. I dont want me to hold her back.

“I do think its a good thing that she can be in there. Its important to have our independence It is quite irrational to think we cant do it alone – she can do it alone.”

It was previously reported that the pair had a secret showdown before the coupling ceremony to decide what would happen if one of them went.

However, fans feel like there will be a twist in the Love Island tale as they believe the pair could swap, so that Eve is the one who stays afterall.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “imagine if eve and jess played a prank and eve is actually still there and jess went home… nobody would know.”

A fellow viewer thought the same, tweeting: “imagine if the twins swapped identities at the end of that re coupling and Eve stayed in the villa instead of Jess ?????”

They weren’t alone with their theory, as a third wrote: “Plot twist… Jess tells eve to stay instead and pretend to be her, whod notice? #LoveIsland.”

Connagh got to know Sophie before the decision

During the coupling ceremony, Connagh said: “So I want to couple up with this girl because I’ve been attracted to this girl in the short time that I’ve been here. And she has the personality to go with her looks.
“I would like to continue to get to know this person, I don’t want to leave this experience and regret not taking any chances. So the girl I want to couple up with is, Sophie.”

Connor was stunned, and when it was turn to choose, he made his feelings clear.

He said: “I’ve found myself in this situation, I feel like I’ve been snaked out a little bit.

“People have been dishonest. But yeah, I’m in it now, so that’s it.”
