LOVE Island host Laura Whitmore has surprised her boyfriend Iain Stirling with a party to mark his upcoming birthday.
Laura, who is set to host the new winter Love Island series this month, left the comedian speechless after secretly organising the bash.
Iain, who is famed for being the Love Island voiceover, even dropped the F-bomb as he walked in the door with Laura to be met by all of his pals in their kitchen.
But while Laura joked on Instagram that he is about to turn 40, he is actually turning 32.
Putting his hands up to his mouth as he arrived home, Iain gasped: “What the f***?!”
The Scots-born star then put his hands on his head and exclaimed: “No way!”
Laura, 34, has since shared a flurry of snaps taken at the bash, which shows Iain in high spirits as he partied at their London home with his friends.
Among the guests invited to the party was former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star at host of The Masked Singer, Joel Dommett, and Swiss TV presenter Alexandra Maurer – who hosts the German version of Got To Dance.
After joking on Instagram that her beau is going to be 40, she then went on stage further.
In one post, she wrote: “The surprise is…his birthday is in two weeks and he’s not 40.” She added: “He’s 72.”
Laura and Iain have been dating since 2017, having met the previous year.
After months of staying coy about their romance, Iain eventually opened up months later, saying: Ive got someone whos like me, but much, much better.
“And Lauras got someone whos like her, but much worse.Ive done well out of it, but Im dead happy because shes lovely and stuff.”
The couple are now poised to jet off to South Africa together for the new winter series of Love Island, which starts on Sunday.
While Iain will be resuming his voiceover duty, Laura has been announced as the replacement for host Caroline Flack.
The Irish star is said to be earning 500,000 for deputising for Caroline, 40, who stepped down after she was charged with assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton, 26.
But there are no bitter feelings between the girls, with Laura telling The Sun that Caroline has been “incredibly gracious” since quitting.
Laura said: “I know shes got a strong network of people around her who are supporting her throughout all of this.
“She has been incredibly gracious and supportive of me taking on the role for the winter series.
“Shes a brilliant host and I just hope that I can give the role the justice it deserves while she is taking some time off.”
