LOVE Island’s Lucie Donlan has been caught red-handed after “borrowing” a surfer’s camper van for a photoshoot without his permission.

The first Joe Slack, 25, knew about it was when he saw the snap shared with Lucie’s 1.6million Instagram fans.

So he decided to recreate her pose in front of his £12,000 bright orange VW van in Newquay, Cornwall.

Joe said: “I knew she lived around here but didn’t realise she was quite so close.

“We’ve been self isolating the whole time so she must have done it when we were 20 yards away in the house.

“She’s good looking, it can’t be denied, so I’m not mad.”

Lucie, 22, starred on Love Island last year.

She said of the pre-lockdown snap: “I was driving around in Newquay trying to get a photo for my Instagram with ‘surfy vibes’ and just thought the orange camper looked awesome!

“Nobody was around and I just thought it looked pretty in the background of the picture.

“I hope Joe found it funny.

“His recreation is brilliant!”
