Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “I don’t want to get into too much, but what happened with Chris is not really a surprise to me. I lived with that for two years.

“Its a shame because shes [Jesy Nelson] been through a lot, and it was her night. It’s their business though. Im very grateful for my life now, put it like that.”

Soon after Chris’ scrap with the paparazzi, Olivia made a dig at her former boyfriend by insisting the incident was “deja vu.”

The pair argued at the same awards ceremony in 2018 after Chris got angry about the amount of time Olivia spent with him.

The former couple met on Love Island in 2017

At the time, Olivia said: “Chris was upset that he didn’t see much of me in the evening but I was chatting to new people and taking in the night.

“So when he saw me he started shouting, I was quite embarrassed as people got out their phones to film it!

“His management managed to stop him from shouting so it was blown out of proportion really. I don’t think he is a good drinker!! I did remind him today that he does shout in public and I did say that he needs to not do that.

“He was like I really dont think I did and I was like Ok you did and that was when the article came out so I was like, believe me now?.”

The ex-Love Island star claims he got physical in self defense.

He wrote in a statement on Instagram: “After coming out of our hotel a particular paparazzi decided to repeatedly call me a name I wouldn’t call my worst enemy, and physically try and start an altercation.

“As everyone can see I retaliated back badly to this which I totally regret. I’m human.”
